Why Tabacon
Two decades of working on Hudson Valley properties, and a few things we do differently.
Roofs and siding get low-pressure soft washing; driveways and concrete get power washing. Matching the method to the surface is what keeps a clean from turning into damage.
Working here since 2003 means we know what Hudson Valley weather does to wood, siding and roofs — and what it takes to bring them back.
The same crew handles a single driveway and a full commercial building, so the standard does not change with the size of the job.
Biodegradable cleaning solutions and low-moisture methods, chosen so they are safe around your planting, your pets and your people.
Where We Work
Family-owned and based in the Hudson Valley. From LaGrangeville outward, we clean homes and businesses across these communities:
Dutchess County
LaGrangeville covers much of the Town of LaGrange, the hilly stretch of Dutchess County between Poughkeepsie and the Taconic State Parkway. Most of it is residential: colonials, raised ranches and split-levels built into rolling ground, many of them on sloped lots with a walkout basement at the back. That slope matters for cleaning. The back of the house is often a full storey taller than the front, the deck sits up off the ground, and the lowest course of siding on the uphill side ends up close to the soil, where it stays damp and picks up splashed dirt every time it rains.
Most of our work in LaGrangeville is homes rather than storefronts: a full house wash including that tall back wall, a raised deck brought back to bare wood, the patio underneath it, and the walkways and steps that run up a sloped yard. Many properties here are on private wells, which is no obstacle — we carry a buffer tank so a house wash never leans hard on your water supply. We also work with townhouse and condo communities in the town, where common walls, walkways and garbage areas are best handled on one schedule.
On a hillside lot, the year shows up in where the water goes. Snowmelt and spring rain run down the slope and leave a band of mud and green growth along the lowest siding and the foundation. Summer humidity lets that growth spread up shaded walls and across the boards of raised decks, which dry slowly when they sit above a damp patio. By autumn the gutters on the taller back side of the house are carrying the most water and the most leaves, so that is the side to check first before the first freeze.

Questions
Close to it. LaGrangeville is the hamlet and mailing name used across much of the Town of LaGrange, which also includes areas like Freedom Plains, Arthursburg and Billings. We work throughout the town, and in neighboring Pleasant Valley, Unionvale and Poughkeepsie.
Yes. Siding is soft washed, so the cleaning solution and a gentle rinse do the work rather than high pressure, which is what makes taller walls practical to clean safely. If any part of the house needs special access, we will point it out when we quote.
We clean the deck first and the patio or walkout area underneath it last, so whatever rinses through the boards is washed away with the final pass. Done in that order, both surfaces finish clean in the same visit.
On sloped LaGrangeville lots the uphill side of the house sits close to the soil, so rain splashes dirt onto the lowest siding and that strip stays damp longer than anywhere else. Green growth starts there first. A wash clears it, and keeping beds and mulch pulled back from the siding helps it stay clean longer.
Yes. For HOAs and managed communities we clean building exteriors, shared walkways, entry areas and garbage and dumpster areas, and we can set it up as a recurring schedule so the whole community is handled at once.
Before, when both are booked together. Clearing the gutters first means anything that spills over during cleaning gets washed off the siding afterwards, rather than landing on a freshly cleaned wall.
